In recent years, UX writing has emerged as a specialized role for the design and development of User Interface (UI) text. Like agile methodologies evolving to support the product development lifecycle, the experience design industry has also evolved to support the technological advances of product experiences. We live in the age of the Internet of Things, where our digital experiences are seamlessly integrated into our lives, and our interactions have become less robotic and more conversational. Crafting the dialogue for these narratives requires a new skill, but it’s also a natural transition from information and experience design.
